Welcome to the wiki for Brady Drums - a small, specialized team of drum craftsmen from Western Australia handcrafting snare drums & drumkits in ply, block and solid shell construction from timbers such as Jarrah (Eucalpytus Marginata), Sheoak (Casuarina Fraserana), Wandoo (Eucalpytus Wandoo), Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia Melanoxylon) and Brown Mallet (Eucalyptus Astringens).
For nearly 30 years, the Brady reputation has been built from the results of Chris Brady's passion, initiative and knowledge of turning unique Australian hardwoods into percussive gems. A vision that began in one man's garage has become one of the most desired instruments of musicians around the world. That vision is the heritage of the Brady family, and will continue for generations to come. From the depths of the West Australian forests, we are proud to be bringing discerning drummers some of the most impressive instruments the world has to offer.

September 22, 2008 is Brady Day at Fork’s Drum Closet in Nashville, USA ! To celebrate, Fork’s will be rolling out a full Brady kit and over 30 snare drums for everyone to demo in person. Brady personnel from Australia will also be flying in for Brady Day in Nashville - to help drummers tailor specific sounds to their setups, and to share insights into Brady’s history, philosophies of drum craftsmanship, and life “down under”. Join us for a great evening with Gary and his team. Festivities kick off at 5pm sharp. See you there!
